Welcome to Refugee Radio

About Us>> Refugee Radio Orchestra

Susanne Paschke

The Refugee Radio Orchestra is our latest project, a supergroup of refugees, asylum seekers and local musicians coming together through music to show the world how we can all get along.

in 2010 the band played all over Brighton, from the Komedia to the birdcage bandstand on the seafront on August Bank Holiday Monday.

The band has featured a lot of different musicians over the last year, including some members with mental health issues, physical disabilities and those who are unemployed, all overcoming barriers through music. The Orchestra work to promote a more positive understanding of people from other countries who have sought refuge in our city.

Keep an eye on the Events page for upcoming performances and get in touch if you want to book usfor a show.
