Refugee Radio is live every Sunday 8pm on RadioReverb97.2FM and as a special show on Resonance104.4FM on Friday 10th July at 8pm.

We are a Social Enterprise that gives a voice to those who do not have one, through media, communications and social events.

1. Alex.

Alex is a homeless refugee from Iran who has to sleep on the streets in Brighton because nobody will help him.

2. Ryico. Vivenie plays her "desert island discs" from Rwanda and tells us about her work as co-founder of the amazing charity, Rwandan Youth Information Community Organisation (rYico), based in Brighton and Kigali.

3. Rosemary.

Celia talks to an Egyptian dancer and biochemist, Rosemary, about Coptic Christian culture and her life in the UK.

4. Crossing Bordes. Special Report on the recent Crossing Borders conference, featuring Dr Frank Arnold from Medical Justice on the healthcare treatment of asylum seekers in UK detention.

5. Refugees Aloud Part I .

DJs Hassie and MC Henzy take over the airwaves in this special broadcast by the young people of Refugees Aloud, a Children's Society project in East London.

Includes tunes from Bobi Wine (Uganda) and Papa Wemba (Congo).

Special Report on the heartbreaking story of Misheel Narantsogt, a Mongolian girl who dreamed of becomming the Princess of Liverpool.

This programme also features the best of Tuvan throat singing music from Mongolia.
